Ever since Covid-19 hit the US, people have all been highly concerned about their health and well-being. Exercise is essential, but most of our health hinges on food and nutrition. So what should we focus on when it comes to our eating habits?

Cook from scratch; when you cook for yourself, you can use whole fresh ingredients to monitor your sodium, sugar and fat intake. Which is challenging if you’re eating out or buy prepared food.

Researchers suggest reducing eating portion size and avoiding sugary drinks. Avoid daily sugary drinks intake as it increases the risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes and heart disease. Coffee is an alternate beverage that is associated with a lower risk of type 2 risk of diabetes.
